OUR TRAINING Curriculum

Our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) curriculum is designed to be broad, balanced and flexible, giving you the knowledge, skills and understanding to succeed as a teacher. You’ll develop:

• Your chosen phase and subject curriculum
• How pupils progress across key stages
• Effective teaching and learning strategies
• The latest educational research
• Statutory frameworks such as safeguarding and inclusion

• Be resilient and reflective in your practice

• Balance workload and wellbeing
• Communicate clearly and confidently
• Make informed decisions that secure pupil progress
