Our Subject Programmes

EAST SCITT OFFER SCHOOL CENTRED TUITION-FEE PROGRAMMES IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, OFTEN PROVIDING YOU WITH THE OPTION TO TRAIN ON A FULL TIME ONE YEAR OR A TWO-YEAR PART TIME PROGRAMME.

Our programmes all lead to the recommendation for the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). We also offer the opportunity to add a PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate in Education) to your programme. This contains 60 Masters level credits and is supported and verified by the University of Buckingham.

PRIMARY PROGRAMMES

Our core primary programme is aimed at those with a passion for working with children aged 3 - 7 years or 5 - 11 years. Your training will be made up of three distinct strands: Subject and curricular studies; professional practice; research and reflective practice. As a Primary trainee you will receive guidance and support to become a confident classroom practitioner across the full primary curriculum. Full details below.

Our Secondary programmes are aimed at those with a passion for their subject and teaching the secondary school age range. Your training will be made up of three distinct strands: Subject and curricular studies; professional practice; research and reflective practice. As a Secondary trainee you will receive guidance and support to become a confident classroom practitioner across the full Secondary curriculum for your chosen subject.
