Assessment Only

To be eligible for this route, you must be working as an unqualified teacher in a school in England or Wales and have the support of your headteacher to undertake Assessment Only and meet the following criteria:

☐           A first degree from a UK HEI or recognised equivalent

☐           GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics

☐           GCSE grade 4 or above in Science - primary candidates only

☐           A minimum of two full years of teaching including planning, delivery and assessment       

☐           Teaching experience already completed in at least two schools

☐           Teaching experience within the age range they are applying for

☐           Currently employed in a school with sole teaching responsibility for a class

☐           Full support from your current headteacher
